Tip of the week

A bargain isn't a bargain if you didn't want it in the first place!

I’ve heard countless times of people boasting about a great bargain they received, but when questioned if they have ever used it/did they want it they realise hum I think I’ve been dun. A discount off that second dress doesn’t mean that much if you didn’t want the second dress in the first place, it just adds to the cost of the dress you wanted!

How many times have you been into a supermarket with a shopping list but bought the chocolate brownies because they where on offer, 3 for the price of 2... "Well its gotta be done!" but after the 1st packet of cramming you realise maybe you didn't need all 3 and really it’s been a waste of money?

So the moral of the story is always think: do I really need this/ will I use it/ have I looked at other alternatives, to ensure you get the bargain you want, not the one the supermarkets want you to want!

More pearls of wisdom coming soon,
